Designed for beginning to intermediate-level playwrights, each class session will include an introduction of various playwriting tools, elements or tactics, followed by exercises to fully explore them. The goal is to help you write your story. No one can teach you how to write a play - there is no set way, no definitive "how to" or rulebook. Rather, what we can do is provide you with tools to begin writing your play, or to re-write it, and the confidence to trust your impulse and write the story you need to write. If you attend the first session and determine that this isn't the right class for you, we will gladly refund you for the remaining classes.

About the Instructor: Seema Sueko is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Mo`olelo Performing Arts Company. Her play, "remains," was Mo`olelo's inaugural show, and it has since received readings and productions in San Francisco, Chicago and Minnesota and is part of the theater curriculum at the University of Puget Sound.
